Beau Hinze and the
Backporch Shufflers

It all started with a snare drum, a guitar and a porch. Percussionist Josh Reddoch moved to town and contacted Beau about getting together & throwing some tunes around to kill some time. Strangers before the first "porch session", this turned into a frequent happening, frequent enough to where it had become more of a "practice" & honing of the backporch sounds. Doyle Spitzer was invited to sit in & join with his box of harmonicas to add to the weekly meetings, followed by his musician buddy Racecar Jim Bernick on upright bass. The band pushed the red button & recorded the album "Undertow" with their own blend of instruments & lyrics, presenting a unique, cool, acoustic type of collection of music. With the additional leads & lyrics of Josh Droegemueller (fiddle), Luke Adair (banjo), Jerry Moreno (bass) & Neil Kulhanek (Pedal Steel), "Undertow" is complete and ready for your ears. Songs about a monster catfish (Undertow), a ballad on the battle of insomnia (Too Early, Too Late), the town drunk (Foster Collins) & many others, you have to give the album a listen....and then another.
